Oordhvaanga Chikitsa is one among the 8 branches of Ayurveda which deals with the treatments for the diseases of the head and neck. It is also known as Shaalaakya Thantra, which includes opthalmology, oto-rhino-laryngeology, stomatology, neurology of head and neck and dermatology of head and neck. It also includes the treatments of diseases like goitre, cervical lymphadenitis etc.
