In this procedure, herbal powders or pastes applied in a cloth that is burnt and tthe emitted smoke will be inhaled through each nostril and released through th emouth. Inhalation of medicinal smoke clears the throat and upper respiratory channel. It prevents and curese diseases* of head and neck generated by kapha and vata. If used inprooperly, it will produce bleeding, blindness, deafness, thirst, fainitng, intoxication and confusion etc.
